Bed-and-Breakfasts, Boutique Hotels, and Inns

We’ve got a lot of friends figuring out where to stay in Tagaytay for the weekend.  And one of the most common questions we get is “what’s the difference between a hotel and a bed-and-breakfast”.

Aside from B&B’s, you also have Boutique Hotels, and Inns.  In many cases, these terms get interchanged, but as it turns out, each of these establishments have key differences that set them apart from regular hotels.

I have been here twice already and did not at all regret choosing this hotel over others! I got coupons from deal grocer for both times and both stays were great. Service is great, facilities are superb, food is yummy as well! Hoping to come back, maybe for two nights next time. –Touringkitty of Pasay

The hotel is good for the kids and elderly as they have a farm in the hotel property. They raise pigs, chickens, turkey, sheep, and rabbits where you can even pet and feed them. They also have lettuce and arugula farms where you can buy fresh produce at a cheaper price. If you look at the hotel from the outside, it might look small, but surrounding it is like a walking park. A good place to inhale fresh, cool air. –cookingmasterboy of Manila
