The intrepid organizers of our upcoming Tagaytay food festival is the Tagaytay Wedding Vendors Association, or The PEAK.
In line with the group's objectives, The PEAK has brought together seven of the country's top catering companies for a historic grand food tasting on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Alta Veranda de Tibig in Silang, Cavite.
Bringing Tagaytay Weddings To The Highest Point
The most captivating wedding moments can be attained with our marrying clients when the wedding vendors work together harmoniously, efficiently and effectively to render the services that exceed client expectations and specifications.
This brings the wedding events to the peak – the highest point – of elegance, perfection and service excellence.
Metaphorically, as Tagaytay sits on the peak of the Taal volcanic ridge, it comes as the top-of-mind wedding destination. The PEAK - Tagaytay Wedding Vendors Association has been organized primarily to epitomize the highest point of Tagaytay weddings.
The collective power and potentials of Cavite-based wedding vendors coming together in collaborative business arrangements have been observed as early as 2006 when one-stop wedding shops began to set the trend in the wedding communities.
The same idea of strategic alliance has also taken roots in wedding venues partnering with caterers and other suppliers to promote each other’s core business competencies. Then, the bridal and wedding fairs and expos which thrive on various wedding vendors showcasing their services together in a bazaar-style have set a trend that lingers to this day.
In spite of these, the most prominent wedding destination – Metro Tagaytay – has been dominated by Manila-based wedding vendors until recently. Then, a sentiment seeking to put Cavite-based wedding vendors to a more prominent position in the local wedding industry began to dribble in the minds of Caviteno wedding entrepreneurs. Since 2015, echoes of a clamor for the wedding vendors of Cavite to organize and be on equal footing with other players have been getting louder and louder.
The Birth of an Alliance
On October 19, 2016, a historic gathering of 47 wedding entrepreneurs of Cavite representing 33 companies agreed to organize themselves and elected their officers board at the Ambiente Fino Events Place in Trece Martires City, which became the birthplace of the first wedding vendor association of Cavite.
On January 28, 2017, the Board met for the first time at the Farmhouse Kitchen, Trece Martires City, to elect their officers and to formulate the organization’s vision, mission and objectives. On February 3, 2017, the Board met again at the HillCreek Gardens to finalize the organization’s vision, mission and objectives, and set in place a program of action and priority initiatives. Since then, more meetings were held in preparation for the officers’ formal installation and members’ induction ceremonies.
