Show Your Friends How To Drink Straight Out of a Coconut

International singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes squeezed in a quick tour of the Philippines just before the March 18 Manila leg of his world tour, and one of those places was Metro Tagaytay‘s Balite Falls in Amadeo, Cavite.

Balite Falls is one of a few other hidden spots in and around Metro Tagaytay that remains relatively untouched by big business.

Just the place to take your shirts off and show your friends how to drink straight out of a coconut. (It’s absolutely refreshing!)

You’ll find fresh coconuts all over Metro Tagaytay– fruit stands by the road are probably the best place to get these, but most restaurants, resorts, and hotels also offer these.  The coconuts will be served to you ready to drink, with a bit of the top already sliced off for easy access.
