Who's Our Target Market?

TagaytayLiving.com was initially designed to cater to those looking to retire in Metro Tagaytay, but since its inception, has expanded its content portfolio to appeal to a much broader audience, primarily:

  • OFW professionals and balikbayans. Including those considering getting married in the neighborhood, or those looking for new places to eat/stay in Metro Tagaytay.
  • Metro Manila bakasyonistas. Particularly those looking for new family-friendly spots, date ideas, out-of-town party venues, as well as those looking to get married in Tagaytay.

And then, secondarily, we have:

  • Entrepreneurs and business-folk. Whether in town to relax for a few days, or scouting out potential business opportunities
  • The wellness-oriented market. Tagaytay is a great place to score fresh vegetables and organic produce for cheap, and is home to a number of organic farms and wellness centers.
  • Retirees. Balikbayans, or even foreign guests looking forward to spending the rest of their lives in a more laid-back, stress-free, and semi-rural community.

Our market is sufficiently tech-savvy (they use their mobile devices or computers to look for new places to check out), discriminating (they know bullshit when they see it), but hold value and good business practices in high esteem (as they work hard for their money, and therefore are accustomed to a certain level of professionalism and competitiveness).

  1. Hi I am Nito Gatus of Indang, Cavite. I am the chairman and school administrator of Holy Family school of Indang. I wish to invite you to feature our Soap for Hope Livelihood Project in your publication. Or perhaps you may wish to suggest how our project could land a space or two on your publication.

We are a mission school with an advocacy for quality education for the rural poor. We provide scholarship to school children from low-income families and at the same time provide livelihood opportunities to their parents.

With help from your publication, we hope to interest top hotels in Tagaytay to donate their used soap to us for recycling. The recycled soap produced by our parent-volunteers are then distributed free to our students and families in neighboring barangays. Their services are paid for by corporate sponsors whose intention is to provide financial assistance to low-income families. But this project goes beyond livelihood assistance. It also promotes proper hygiene among our school children and their respective families by way of the free soap we give away. We will be happy to show you around in our school one of these days and see for yourself how a humble mission school like ours is able to help the rural poor. Our location is just 15 minutes away from the Jollibee store near the Tagaytay-Mendez intersection. Looking forward to having a talk with you about this matter. Thanks so much for your time.
